Previous Meetings

Prior to the AGM, a short press shoot was held, with representatives from The Peninsular Times, where Sue Williams and Andrew Rootes stood by an impressive display & copies of the Books.

A short AGM was held, where reports were read from The Treasurer and The Secretary. This was followed by a brief introduction on the challenging venture by Sue and Andrew, on the production of their book ‘Higham in Old Photographs’!

A selection of 31 images were shown, from over 170 photos within the book, with Sue explaining the history of the pictures/ locations & Andrew quoting any additional information.

Copies are available from Meadows Stores, Mid Higham Post Office, Higham & Gravesend Libraries, Medway Studies Centre & History Group Meetings. Priced at £5.00 each, with proceeds going towards the Higham Village History Group and Air Ambulance. You can also reserve a copy with Sue Williams on 01634 724313.
